Over
the past ten years the number of persons leaving the justice system
without housing has increased while housing stocks have failed to keep
pace with demand. TASC agencies are now including housing needs
assessments, placement and support services as part of their strategy to
stabilize and reduce homelessness among persons who have been involved
with the criminal justice system. National TASC is seeking help from
member agencies around the country who are actively working to reduce
homelessness. NTASC is particularly interested in learning about promising
new approaches, strategies and studies that help offenders and their
families secure stable housing.
